Manages all aspects and phases of physical security system solution services in assigned territory. Serves as a subject matter expert in regards to video surveillance, physical access control, intrusion prevention, and other physical security technology applications. Promotes, creates awareness of, and provides training to security management and sales staff in regards to security system solution services. Consults on security systems design issues with clients, vendors and colleagues. Ensures strong customer service by managing expectations, executing on commitments, and providing support throughout the client relationship cycle. Attains key performance metrics including profit & loss objectives for Technology Unit in assigned territory.

1. Promotes the use of security systems technology applications as a service solution that adds value for clients and drives profitability for the Company.

2. Ensures the delivery of high quality customer service through regular contact with Area Vice Presidents, Branch Managers, Business Development Managers, Clients, Vendors, and Partners; evaluates service quality and initiates corrective action as necessary.

3. Identifies and manages relationships with subcontract suppliers within assigned territory to prepare and successfully deliver solutions.

4. Analyzes operational and financial indicators to continuously improve performance; ensures profitable operations with full profit and loss accountability for assigned Teclmical Solutions Unit territory.

5. Maintains a positive, professional environment in full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures; acts to ensure that staff members understand and comply with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures.

6. Participates as a team member in the Business Unit and Central-Atlantic Region's strategic planning and provides leadership in business development.

7. Obtains necessary industry technical certifications.

8. Performs additional functions, duties and specific tasks of a similar nature and scope as necessary in order to achieve assigned business objectives.

Job Requirements:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AT ENTRY:
Additional qualifications may be specified and receive preference, depending upon the nature of the position.

MINIMUM HIRING STANDARDS:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Must have a reliable means of communication (i.e., phone).

• Must have a reliable means of transportation (public or private).

• Must have the legal right to work in the United States.

• Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English.

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.

• Must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.

• Must be willing and able to travel extensively throughout a large multi-state territory.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree in a business-related field and 6 years of successful and progressively responsible physical security systems experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company. Preferred qualifications are: PSP certification; experience/certification with AMAG, Avigilon, Axis and/or Milestone; experience with video analytics; and, experience with remote video monitoring solutions.

Competencies (as demonstrated through experience, training, and/or testing):

• Detailed technical knowledge of physical security systems, including video surveillance, access control, intercom and intrusion detection.

• Demonstrated skill and record of achievement in business-to-business sales or operational activities.

• Understanding of service industry cost and profitability drivers.

• Strong customer service and service delivery orientation.

• Skills to create and present a strong value proposition.

• Excellent planning, organizing and leadership skills.

• Self-starter, with ability to take initiative and achieve results.

• Ability to be an effective member of and lead project teams.

• Ability to use standard office applications software.

• Basic knowledge of computer network architecture, data transmission and bandwidth.

WORKING CONDITIONS {Physical/Mental Demands):

• Maintaining composure in dealing with executives, clients, prospects, and staff, in group settings and in situations requiring high performance and results.

• Must undergo and meet company standards for background and reference checks, controlled substance testing, and behavioral selection survey.

• Handling and being exposed to sensitive and confidential information.

• Required ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.

• Regular use of vehicle required in the performance of duties.

• Regular talking and hearing.

• Close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.

• Frequent local and regional/national travel for presentations, meetings, and client site visits.

• Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.
