Physical Therapist Opportunity-FFS, full-time, or part-time

Step One Early Intervention provides educational and therapeutic services to children from birth to three years with special needs and provides support and education to their families. Child development research has established that learning is most rapid from birth to age 5. The dedicated staff at our Step One Early Intervention program works in partnership with families to understand and meet the individual needs of children. Our program supports the relationship between young children and their families. We offer developmental services to children and support, education, and counseling services to families. Our program serves a diverse population and we have staff that speak Mandarin, Cantonese, Vietnamese, Spanish, Haitian Creole, and Portuguese. Countless families have benefited from the work we do and appreciate the support they have received from our program!

Our interdisciplinary team of professionals provides:

•Developmental assessments
•Home-based services to young children and their families
•Consultative services to staff of other disciplines and families
•Developmental, therapeutic group services for infants, toddlers and families
•Consultation and collaboration with other community and medical providers such as child care professionals and pediatricians

Required Skills

  • Master's degree in Physical Therapy and licensure in MA

Required Experience
  • Previous experience working with children and families
  • Driver's license and access to personal vehicle required for home visits
