Physician Assistant (PA) - Vascular Surgery will manage pre and post-op inpatients along with the multi-disciplinary team. Common patient diagnosis: aortic aneurysm/dissection, carotid artery disease, diabetic wound care, peripheral artery disease, popliteal artery entrapment syndrome, thoracic outlet syndrome. Meet our Vascular Surgery Team

Shifts: three 12-hour day shifts per week; some Saturdays

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an AMA approved Physician Assistance Program
  • Licensed by the MD Board of Physicians
  • CDS (prescription) and DEA (narcotics) licensure required
  • Board certified or (certification eligible for new Graduate PA) by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
  • BLS Health Care Provider CPR certification required: AHA or Red Cross accepted
  • No PA work experience required; vascular surgery experience preferred
  • Provider Enrollment, Chain and Ownership Systems (PECOS) enrollment required

You must be fully credentialled by The Johns Hopkins Hospital medical board with staff privileges to start working.
