To continue our standard of excellence, Piedmont is seeking a motivated, reliable professional to join our team as a Recruiter. The Recruiter is responsible for understanding the corporate culture, policies, and goals to select candidates that meet or exceed the company's minimum requirements for employment. This will be achieved by working closely with station management to arrange and host recruiting events, where the recruiter will conduct interviews and orientation sessions. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and Microsoft Office Skills, as well as a flexible schedule to allow for extensive travel. This position reports to the Manager of Talent Acquisitions.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for understanding the corporate culture, policies, and goals to select candidates that meet or exceed the company's minimum requirements for employment
  • Work closely with station management in various locations to arrange and host recruiting events designed to meet staffing goals
  • Post job opportunities on various websites or newspapers, monitor responses, and contact candidates
  • Conduct interview and orientation sessions; arrange for new hires to attend mandatory training class
  • Ensure employment processes are completed for each new hire
  • Maintain and update files, tracking forms and order pre-employment workbooks as necessary

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Ability to work independently, set and meet own deadlines
  • Ability to work well with all levels of management and support staff
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent MS Office Suite skills
  • Flexible schedule
  • Motivation to succeed
  • At least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of federal and state employment law
  • Previous recruiting experience
  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • Experience as a pilot
  • Airline experience

Work Environment:
  • Standard office environment, use of computers and other office equipment
  • Extensive travel

Physical Requirements:
  • Occasional lifting up to 75 pounds
