We are looking for a Platform Engineer with a background in CI/CD systems to support and scale our software build, test, and deployment infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Iteratively review and modify CI/CD principles and build future capabilities
  • Maintain CI/CD tools/platforms and build future capabilities
  • Develop and implement end-to-end integration testing strategy alongside development teams
  • Develop and maintain pipeline configurations
  • Performance, reliability, and maintenance of CI/CD toolchain

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 4+ years Experience automating software deployments and following a continuous delivery and deployment (CI/CD) model
  • 2+ years experience in using development languages such as Python, Shell or other languages, to build reusable tools
  • Experience implementing CI/CD systems, preferably with Gitlab
  • Strong understanding of software development practices throughout the build, test, and deployment phases of the application life-cycle
  • Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and interpersonal

Desired Qualifications
  • Solid understanding of python
  • Familiarity with software packing tools (Docker, Helm, python, terraform)
  • Familiarity with microservice architectures and concepts
  • Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and end-to-end testing
  • Experience working on a team leveraging Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Kubernetes experience is a plus
