Overview

The Assigned Risk Policy Technician is responsible for the processing Policies, simple endorsements and audits as well handle the day to day activities involved in the day to day operations of the Assigned Risk Division.

The Assigned Risk Policy Technician will assist Analysts and Supervisors in their processes.

The Policy Technician will be responsible for the more complex clerical duties as well as the processing of audits, policies and simple endorsements.

They assist staff and supervisors, process all aspects of assigned risk business as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Process new business and renewal quotes, cancellation and endorsement requests, and new business.
  • Index mail into the imaging system
  • Process Loss Runs and DNOC's
  • Answer day to day questions from agents and insured's
  • Order audits and loss control
  • All other duties as assigned by assigned risk management.


Qualifications

  • 1 to 2 years of insurance or other related experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills and ability to learn new applications.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Applications
