Description:
The Postdoctoral Fellow for the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology will be responsible for studying the biochemical and molecular mechanisms underlying the regulations of the p53-MDM2 loop, mutant p53s, and the c-Myc pathway in response to various signals and to identify small molecules that can suppress tumor growth by re-activating p53 activity in human cancer cells and mouse tumor model systems including genetically manipulated mouse models, such as p53-null, MDM2-C305/MDM4-3SA double knockin, CCDC3-null, TA-p63-null, PHLDB3-null, and p53-R249S knockin mouse models.
