This process involves input of all stakeholders, assessment of external factors and their possible impacts on resource availability and needed expense, modeling of potential future developments, and clear scenario generation for leaders to make decisions for the future of the University.

Position Summary

The University of Denver Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs is seeking a full-time, postdoctoral research fellow to join research projects focused on father engagement, implementation science, intervention development, home visiting, and child maltreatment prevention. This is a 12-month position with the possibility of a one-year renewal contingent upon funding and satisfactory performance.

The Postdoctoral Fellow will support the Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs in carrying out research-related projects and tasks. The primary projects include: 1) the Colorado Fatherhood Program Evaluation, a federally funded multi-site initiative testing a new evidence-informed intervention called the Nurturing Dads and Partners Program in partnership with the Colorado Department of Early Childhood and 2) The Dads Matter-HV intervention, an evidence-based home visiting intervention designed to better engaged fathers and support their role in the family. Tasks on these projects may include: supervising students, supporting community partners with data collection, development of research measures and tools, analysis of data, collaboration with state or other funding partners, development of grants, and writing reports, manuscripts, or other dissemination products.

The fellow will primarily be supervised by Dr. Jennifer Bellamy. However, the fellow will have the opportunity to work with multiple faculty at DU and at other institutions. A team-mentorship approach will be used to support the advancement of the fellows research, scholarship, and career development. The fellow will also benefit from numerous professional development opportunities offered by the university. The preference is for a postdoctoral candidate who can be physically located in Denver, but remote work will also be considered depending on qualifications.
