Description: 

The Kosuri Lab at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies seeks to recruit multiple Postdoctoral Fellows to engage in integrative biology research. The lab has two tracks: 1) single-molecule studies of protein-DNA interactions, using methods based on DNA origami and super resolution microscopy; and 2) Cardiac biology studies in mouse models and humans, using genetic and imaging approaches including new methods for single-cell spatial transcriptomics. The postdoctoral positions are for scientists looking to invent and deploy new technology to uncover foundational principles in biology. Ideal candidates are excited to join a productive new lab, fearless in problem solving, and aiming to produce high-impact work in a world-class setting for collaborative research. Education: 
Ph.D. in Biology, Physics, Bioengineering, Biochemistry, Computational Biology, or related fields.

 Experience: 
Coding skills preferred. Experience with any of the following techniques would be a plus: fluorescence microscopy, (single-cell) RNA-seq, DNA origami, mouse models, tissue preparation, protein engineering, cell- and molecular biology. For the second track (see above), a background in cardiac biology is highly desired.
