Beacon Hill is seeking a Practice Group Assistant/Legal Assistant to join a reputable national law firm in Lake Forest, IL. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable legal experience, learn, and grow within the company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare final binders for clients, including index, tabs, documents, and cover page.
• Assist with the Vaulting process.
• Support attorney time entry.
• Create and maintain client files, both electronic and paper.
• Proofread and revise Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents.
• Update, maintain, and generate mailing lists, and assist with the distribution of periodic mailings.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Dependable, responsible, and able to work independently.
• Previous work experience in a professional environment.
• Legal work experience preferred.
