What You Will Be Doing - The Preconstruction Manager will lead and assist the bidding of construction projects by preparing conceptual and hard dollar estimates, preparing proposals for new projects, and soliciting subcontractor bids
-The Preconstruction Manager will review and verify accuracy and completeness of all project documents received and will also perform quantity take-offs, constructability reviews, and value engineering analyses for all projects assigned
- The Preconstruction Manager will play a key role in departmental initiatives and improvements
- Work in conjunction with Preconstruction team to prepare accurate proposals for all business units including (Commercial, Industrial, Institutional, Residential)
What You Need for this Position - 7+ years of experience
- Capability to lead project pursuits in multiple market sectors including Commercial, Industrial, Healthcare, Institutional, and Residential
-Demonstrated knowledge of building construction, materials, systems, market conditions, and trade practices
- Knowledge of estimating and quantity takeoff software
- Experience leading Preconstruction meetings
