The President is the administrative head of CCCTS, and is hired by and responsible to the Board of Directors, to provide direction to all aspects of the affairs of the institution.

He is the sole official channel of communication between the administration, staff and students and the Board of Directors.

The President is the Chief Executive Officer of the institution and is responsible for operating CCCTS within the directives and policy guidelines adopted by the Board of Directors.

The President is the direct supervisor of chief administrative officers in the areas of academic administration, student development, business administration, public relations, development, and financial aid.

He oversees and directs institutional affairs, monitors performance of the administration, faculty and staff.

He makes policy recommendations to the Board of Directors in accordance with the institutional needs and directions and is responsible to the Board for the administrative direction of CCCTS, as the officially authorized executive officer.

He is the primary public relations officer and primary spokesperson for CCCTS.

The President provides leadership in maintaining and promoting spiritual, academic, social, developmental, and fiscal objectives of CCCTS.

He is responsible for supervising long-range planning for the institution.

The President obtains the concurrence of the Board of Directors in appointing the chief administrative offices, the approval of their job descriptions, setting their compensations, and faithful performance of their duties.

The President obtains the approval of the Board of Directors in the appointment of the faculty that the Vice President of Academic Affairs recommends.

The President recommends to the Board of Directors for their consideration persons receiving Honorary Degrees.

He recommends to the Board the promotion, demotion, dismissal and retirement of faculty members.

He supervises the revision, compilation, and reproduction of the Employee Handbook and Board Handbook.

He oversees the compilation of the fiscal budget; after the Board of Directors adopts said budget, he is responsible for administering it.

He oversees all financial operations and procedures including payroll, paying bills, taxes, bookkeeping, insurance, investing, scheduling of audits, cost analysis, paying bills, and general accounting.

The President coordinates and supervises proposal writings and all major fundraising projects.

He is responsible to oversee all legalities including exemption from State licensure, compliance with building codes, legal liability, inspections, tax exemption, et ceteras.

He presides over all formal CCCTS convocations, such as graduation exercises, vesper and chapels, and all committees and can approve, modify, and disallow their recommendations.

He is a member of every faculty and administrative committee and has the power to appoint all committees, except standing Board Committees.

He has other duties and powers as the Board of Directors may choose to assign.

He is to provide the Vision for the Institution.

Must know the law and have solid counsel.
