Job Description:

Help CoreLogic ensure the stability and performance of its data networks as we continue our journey to the Cloud.

The Principal, IT Infrastructure Architect is responsible for the management and monitoring of the CoreLogic network infrastructure; supports, maintains, and evaluates the installation, configuration, and maintenance of both physical and virtual computer network equipment, performing disaster recovery operations, protecting data, software, and hardware from attacks, and replacing faulty network hardware components when necessary. The Principal, IT Infrastructure Architect is vital in recommending changes that minimize risk as well as mitigate outages, threats and vulnerabilities in daily operations.

  • Provides architectural direction and advanced technical/engineering expertise for the network (LAN/WAN) infrastructure and DNS services.
  • Deploys, monitors, and supports network hardware/software within the network (LAN/WAN) infrastructure.
  • Gathers business requirements, recommends, plans, designs, and implements network infrastructure expansion, enhancements and upgrades.
  • Leads the effort in the investigation and resolution of network problems.
  • Determines and implements tools for network performance measurement and management.
  • Generates and reviews appropriate reports and performance statistics for capacity planning or trending analysis.
  • Acquires and maintains the appropriate level of hardware and software licenses.
  • Applies knowledge of emerging technology trends and develops alternatives with respect to network architecture, hardware, and software.
  • Participates in the selection of network security solutions and implementation.
  • Interfaces routinely with other IT team members as well as internal customers (other departments) and vendors to determine network infrastructure needs.
  • Leads network integration projects and coordinates with engineering teams.
  • Follows established administrative, tracking, and best practice procedures.
Job Qualifications:

Job Requirements:
  • 8-10 years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
  • Expert knowledge of Cisco networking equipment and software.
  • Experience administering enterprise IP networks in mission-critical, 24x7 production environments.
  • 5 years related experience in infrastructure/network environments and designing, planning, documenting and implementing LANs and WANs using latest technology.
  • 2 years of experience configuring and managing cloud technologies, SaaS platforms.
  • Advanced process orientation and exhibited planning, organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, facilitation, and leadership skills along with effective communication (both written and verbal) skills.
  • Advanced understanding of TCP/IP network protocols, including common application protocols.
  • Experience in high-availability networks in load-balanced, n-tier application environments.
  • Experience leading complex global projects from development through implementation.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex systems and network environment issues.
  • Ability to understand systems from all levels, from the "big picture" enterprise-level view to the low-level technical view.
  • Ability to write technical design and build documentations for all aspects of a technical infrastructure.
  • Ability to represent technical and business issues and solutions to multiple levels internally and externally to support strategic organizational plans.
  • Demonstrate ability to work in a complex organization to determine business and customer needs, providing the best solution to meet those needs.

Preferred:
  • Python, Terraform or Ansible experience.
  • Microservices experience
  • API experience
  • ITIL certification preferred
  • Integration experience
  • Cloud certifications and/or cloud experience with any major Cloud platform (Google Cloud Platform preferred)
  • Application development experience
