Position Overview

As a Data Reporting Associate in our Process Control function you will be responsible for delivering quality assured weekly and monthly databases and custom reports to strict deadlines. Data integrity is of paramount importance. This will also involve identifying, investigating and resolving data and quality issues. You will work as part of a wider team responsible for achieving individual and team targets and deadlines.

Overall Responsibilities:

  • Run various processes to collate and generate Standardized and customized databases and reports
  • Validating databases and custom reports for a specific industry (Toys, Sports, Food, Beauty) spanning multiple countries
  • Strong focus on achieving set deliverables which includes, immediate incident reporting and the appropriate communication of data issues - seeing them to a successful conclusion.
  • Implementing effective data quality checks to safeguard the integrity of our data and successfully achieve all client deliverables.
  • Ensuring that the highly sensitive task of delivering custom reports is achieved seamlessly and directly to our clients.
  • Updating of report parameters as necessary and validating report enhancement requests.
  • Creating and maintaining data quality templates to validate custom reports accurately.
  • Provisioning and maintaining client access to NPD report depository location (Client Center).
  • Developing strong working relationships with international colleagues across multiple regions and functions.
  • To mobilise your technical skills and knowledge to facilitate improvements and be of maximum benefit to the wider team.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders by means of meetings, calls, Zoom, WebEx or any other communication method required.
  • On occasion this role may require you to work evenings and over the weekend to facilitate the smooth running of data processing. This is to ensure data is delivered and quality approved for our client servicing teams in a timely manner.


Qualifications/Skills:
  • A third level qualification or demonstrated progressive work experience and expertise in data reporting, database management or other analytical function beneficial.
  • Naturally rigorous and organized. You must possess solid problem solving and decision-making skills as well as taking full accountability for your work.
  • Self-directed; strong ability to work independently, to troubleshoot and resolve issues (particularly when unsupported).
  • Able to run numerous tasks concurrently and to deliver results within tight timelines.
  • Enthusiastic and open to learn technical processes. You have a collaborative approach to working and strong communication and team skills.
  • Ability to locate and decipher appropriate and accurate information (identifying key information in documentation and/or via web research).
  • You anticipate issues and takes appropriate action immediately. You are an analytical thinker who makes considered decisions and involves the right people - moving quickly to resolve issues.
  • Quickly develop an understanding of and foresight to identify potential issues/knock on effects numerous steps ahead in a process.
  • Is process driven, but looks to identify efficiencies and best practice approaches and shares ideas with colleagues.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) with advanced knowledge of Excel.
  • Numeracy skills and attention to detail is essential. Language skills an advantage.
  • Ambitious to perform well and to assist others when possible to improve performance
  • Ideally experience in an environment working and collaborating across time zones.
