JOB DESCRIPTION

Wood is currently recruiting for a Process Engineer with experience in the chemical manufacturing industry. As the Process Engineer you will be responsible for process and production engineering support in an active chemical manufacturing plant.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide chemical engineering and process technology support across multiple sites and business lines as subject matter expert. Support to include but not limited to process design, process safety, specification of process equipment and instrumentation, training, commissioning support and operations troubleshooting.
• Report status of the tasks regularly.
• Co-ordinate with others to understand scope and schedule for all tasks and prioritize these as needed to complete each on time.
• Prepare process data supporting changes and documenting existing systems in the plant.
• Perform engineering calculations as needed.
• Document design decisions as data sheets and other documents.
• Take reasonable care of your own health & safety and of others who may be affected by you.
• Implement established procedures to ensure compliance to Quality and HSSE requirements.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in Quality and HSSE and notify the relevant department.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 30+ years' experience in process engineering for chemical manufacturing facilities.
• Good experience and skill set in the use of Microsoft's suite of office products.
