Position Summary

The Product Coordinator position is responsible for supporting the product department by performing duties based on direction received from the Product Manager. Position performs administrative functions including preparation and maintaining of accurate reports and spreadsheets and is responsible for maintaining quality control of all product related materials and sites. Work with the various departments within the brand to complete assign duties.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • SharePoint: create and maintain the site to ensure its accuracy
  • Manuals/Image Library: prepare and maintain up to date product manuals and image library
  • Minimum numbers: maintain the passenger minimum number spreadsheet
  • Work with the MXP system
  • Proofing: responsible for product information in brochures, cruise companions, website, documentation and other sales and marketing materials
  • Website: communication with the Marketing Department for quality control of the Uniworld website
  • Create comparisons for ships, product, new itineraries, and trends
  • Surveys: Prepare survey summaries for Vietnam, Cambodia, Egypt, India, & Peru to identify areas where we excel and where we can improve services
  • Passenger count: prepare, maintain, and submit up-to-date passenger count and summary reports for extensions and cruise/ tour programs
  • Answer questions received via productinquiry@uniworld.com
  • Assist the product team with assigned projects
  • Other duties as required and assigned

Qualifications
  • The Product Coordinator should have at least two years in the implementation of tours/cruises. Additional experience in problem solving techniques, attention to detail and the ability to work as a team and to respond positively to all staff.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent written and oral communication able to dictate in a clear and precise manner and including superior punctuation and grammar. Must have meticulous attention to detail, have ability to prioritize and manage workload with little supervision and be able to communicate providing verbal feedback in a professional manner.
  • Vision correctable to 20/20 with reasonable accommodation required. Ability to look at a computer monitor for long periods of time with reasonable accommodation required.
  • Able to lift 20 lbs with reasonable accommodation preferred. Able to sit for long periods of time, and use a computer mouse and keyboard for long periods of time with reasonable accommodation required.
  • Strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently and effectively in a team environment required. Self-motivation and the ability to manage own time, follow directions and meet tight deadlines required.
