Our Product Management team is hiring a Product Designer to be 100% remotely based or office based in Omaha, NE. The Product Designer for the Product Management team will be responsible for developing and maintaining a UX vision, strategy, and delivery to support Conversational UX for product. This includes but is not limited voice user experience and digital user experience. The Product Designer will also support training and mentoring of individuals responsible for delivering on that vision to support UX.

What You'll Be Doing:

Customer Centric Design

  • Lead regular design reviews, critiques, and ideation sessions for team members
  • Ensure a systemic design aesthetic that scales
  • Build successful experiences that are tailor-made for people
  • Advocate for human-centered design and ensure we're solving the right problems
  • Conduct user feedback research to ensure design meets the needs of consumers
  • Set policies for standards, processes, and overall performance of designs based on analytics to proactively exceed client's expectations.
  • Set and drive product vision throughout the organization and advocate for user experience at every level within the organization.

Innovator
  • Improve creativity by staying abreast of industry standards, emerging technologies, and conversational capabilities.
  • Oversee and provide consultative advice to clients regarding advanced voice, speech, SMS, Visual Interface, program functions and how they interact with user experience behaviors.
  • Challenge traditional best-practices in design and develop new, best-performance standards.
  • Create clarity in ambiguous problem spaces, and apply systems thinking to simplify complex feature sets into simple, intuitive product experiences

Team Member
  • Be patient, have empathy for others, and always think of business needs as well as the user's experience
  • Ability to influence and solicit buy-in with stakeholders and business leadership
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams as well as the greater UX team throughout the design process
  • Work with leadership to shape teams' culture, processes, and tools to improve design productivity and efficiency
  • Build healthy and collaborative relationships with design, product, and engineering leadership to shape strategy
  • Establish a trusted proactive relationship with internal and external clients to provide maximum client value.


What You Bring:

Education
  • Bachelor's degree required from an accredited college or university with major course work in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, or related fields.
  • Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements.

Experience
  • Minimum five years in voice user interface and user experience design.
  • Minimum five years in user experience research
  • Minimum of ten years of general business experience
  • Proven contact center experience.
  • A working knowledge of Google technologies, including Dialogflow NLU.

Other
  • Demonstrable portfolio of related conversational design work.
  • Knowledge of Visio, Word and Excel required
  • Proven presentation and public speaking skills.
