ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assisting Team Lead (TL) on defining and developing timelines for DV & PV Test requirements
  • Learn the Mahle internal systems to be capable of ordering parts via the purchasing department
  • Coordinate with the TL and other engineers within the Stellantis & Honda the procurement of test parts and the schedule development for the actual testing
  • Monitor and report out weekly on the status of tests and condition of parts - identify alternatives together with the team - (lead the tracking of the activities)
  • Generate, complete, review and submit test reports with the TL and Manager, support and track the submission to the customer
  • Assist in the coordination, delivery and return from prototypes to:
  • Suppliers, Test LABs, Mahle locations
  • Customer locations (Mule builds, Plants)
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must be enrolled in a 4-year accredited University
    • Major: Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
    • Class standing: junior/senior preferred
  • Skills:
    • Preferred with previous exposure/experience to Laboratories (Thermal and Vibration Test equipment
    • Basic understanding of thermodynamics (thermal behaviors of plastics and metals)
    • Knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
    • Willed to work with test equipment in a "hands on" approach up to 50% of time
    • Ability to review multiple data files and drawing conclusions from it (test reports generation)
  • Prior internship experience is required
