A role you will love

As a Product Development Manager, you will be responsible for analyzing new products that Computershare is innovatively creating for our customers. You will stay with the product from conception all the way to the first customer considering any details that need to be changed in order to build a better product. Making sure products fit the needs of all parties involved, you will also consider and execute strategies with a goal to achieve the best outcome.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Identify and develop new product specifications at all levels in conjunction with VP Product Development.
  • Provide management through all stages from initial development to product launch and through end-of-life. Coordinate product modification, release timings, and product feature set.
  • Develop and maintain product roadmaps, set meetings with strategic customers/partners, gather information on competition, drive new product development efforts throughout the organization.
  • Coordinate marketing documentation with the Marketing Team; support all product-related collateral including promotional materials, product data sheets, presentations, and digital assets.
  • Provide input to brand management decisions including client-facing materials
  • Maintain market position of products by keeping up to date on competitive market information.
  • Evaluate and approve requirements for development to support product creation and updates.
  • Coordinate with sales and finance on margin analysis, forecasting and pricing strategies.
  • Work with outside vendors and internal facilities to manage production definition, scope and engagement rules
  • Provide basic training and team support
What will you bring to the role

As you've probably gathered by now, we are looking for somebody with a real passion for Product Management that possess the ability to bring people together to work collaboratively, define objectives, and influence stakeholders to get the best outcome.

Other key skills required for the role include:
  • Proven ability to successfully deliver tactical and strategic business solutions
  • Experience of dealing with different levels of stakeholders and colleagues from all areas of the business
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite
  • Ability to think proactively to avoid possible setbacks
  • Positive, pragmatic, and collaborative approach, results driven
  • Previous Product or Project Management is a plus
  • Financial Services industry experience required
  • Broad understanding of people, process, and technology required
  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or 2 to 4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Compensation. Salary Range: $85k to $115k annually
