Job Summary:

As a Product Management Intern, you'll have the opportunity to learn how doctors, nurses, hospitals, and health systems keep up with the pace of new medical information and deliver the best patient care. You'll work closely with a Health Markets product team on a defined project that will give you experience with the product lifecycle, from discovery and ideation through development and ultimately delivery.

Responsibilities:

Customer Focus

  • Participates in customer discovery activities with the product team and gives input for solutions.
  • Helps others to deliver on existing customer commitments.
  • Regularly reads competitive announcements and events.


Data-Driven Decision-Making & Analysis
  • Seeks out data in partnership with others to support decisions.
  • Demonstrates ability to review data from predefined dashboards and shares with team members for decision making.


Go to Market & Product Marketing Lifecycle
  • With clear direction participates in go to market launch plans and activities.
  • Develops an understanding of how the product is marketed to customers.
  • Participates in select customer events in partnership with the product team.
  • Distributes information to sales and marketing to educate on product issues.


Product Delivery & Development Lifecycle
  • Demonstrates an understanding of the customer experience, and the components of a good product.
  • Develops an understanding of how to write clear and concise user stories or product requirements that meet agile guidelines.


Strategy & Commercial Acumen
  • Develops an understanding of and executes defined product strategy.
  • Proactively asks questions about strategy and goals.


Technical Skills
  • Learns the company technology stack at a high level, for his/her feature area.
  • Learns to write detailed technical user stories.
  • Learns about technologies to assist day-to-day tasks.

Experience and Education:
  • Must by the summer of 2021, completed their junior year and be a senior in the fall of 2021

  • The internship can be offered remotely given current events and welcome all locations to apply. A laptop is provided
