This position is responsible for driving the business forward by leveraging industry knowledge and production experience.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate costing on styles to hit company's margin goals. Work closely with factories to ensure best price and quality is delivered for product.
• Collaborate and communicate daily with buyers, design, and technical departments to ensure product development cycle is moving.
• Responsible for the communication of tech pack to factories: from concept to production handoff.
• Manage the sampling process from proto to pre-production; ensure WIP trackers are updated with latest information, costing, and status dates.
• Responsible for product execution and follow-through to ensure samples arrive with correct specifications and on a timely basis from factories.
• Manage shipping issues internally and externally with the factories. Lead internal shipping meetings and explain reasons why extensions are needed to management. • Ability to delegate tasks by working with direct reports and troubleshoot problems to figure out best solutions for the team.
• Lead by example, take accountability, and deliver results for the business.

Qualifications

• 
  Position is hard-line focused - p referred background in 3D production/tooling or designing/engineering for hard-lines with knowledge of 3D art/tooling.
  
• Open to relocate to NJ if necessary.
• Must have a great deal of initiative.
• Great organizational skills.
• The ability to explain design ideas and plans clearly to overseas teams /factories.
• Confident decision-making ability.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• The ability to work within budgets and to deadlines.
• Flexible
• Strong time management skills.
