Job Role: Product/Process/Materials Co-Op

Location: Various locations throughout United States (relocation assistance may be provided)

Role Terms: Spring/Summer (Full-Time January - August 2023), Summer/Fall (Full-Time May - December 2023) or Fall (Full-Time August - December 2023) in either instance, this is a cooperative education program so you would be required to take off from school during the duration of the co-op term.

Additional Information: Must have permanent right to work in the United States both now and in the future.

Job Overview

Process, product, and material engineering Co-Ops have the opportunity to apply scientific and engineering practices to product, medical devices, process, and material design and development. Experimentation could be conducted in a laboratory, manufacturing, or product use environment. Candidates may work with advanced technologies in polymers, surfactants, absorbency, fibers, nonwoven materials, and other fields for design and manufacture of consumer and business to business health and hygiene products are leveraged to create new benefits, to solve current problems, and/or to maintain existing products. Considerable interaction with representatives of engineering and manufacturing is required in meeting project objectives.

Carry out assigned projects as part of a team. Demonstrate the ability to fully develop the skills and traits required for continued growth as a scientist. Conduct all communications and transactions with utmost integrity and honesty. Document knowledge and report research and development work as required. Contribute to an environment in which all team members are respected. Strong oral and written communication skills are imperative. Understanding of basic statistics and computer usage experience is desirable

Qualifications

  • GPA: 3.0 cumulative or higher
  • Completion of 1-1/2 years of college courses
  • Applicants must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. on a regular, full-time basis
  • Kimberly-Clark does not offer employment to holders of F-1, J-1, or H-1 visas for the purpose of obtaining practical experience
  • Previous Co-op/Intern experience is a plus
