Job Summary

Department-Specific Responsibilities:

  • Works closely with doctoral students and faculty involved in the National Science Foundation Research Traineeship in Complex Networks and Systems (CNS-NRT) program to track student progress
  • Plan and execute events
  • Collect and track program-related data as needed
  • Write and submit needed reports
  • Assist with recruitment and admissions support duties for Luddy doctoral programs more broadly, including communication with prospective students, staff, and faculty to provide information
General Responsibilites:
  • Responds to requests for program information by staff, students, and faculty; handles any necessary correspondence.
  • Maintains records of program activities; oversees and ensures the timely processing and delivery of required materials.
  • Conducts research and compiles materials and information in support of program.
  • Collects and helps to analyze data and information generated or produced by program; writes reports and other written materials based on this data.
  • Coordinates event planning related to program, while working with a wide range of people (university administrators, faculty, students, and vendors).

EDUCATION

Required
  • High school diploma or GED

Working Conditions / Demands

This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.
