Department

LIBERAL ARTS & MANAGEMENT (BL-LAMP-IUBLA)

Department Information

It's never business as usual in the Liberal Arts and Management Program at the IU's College of Arts and Sciences. More and more, employers are looking for graduates from the liberal arts and sciences who know how to manage projects, people, systems, and organizations.

We offer two distinct paths for students interested in the intersection of business and liberal arts: our major in Management + Human Organization, and our LAMP honors certificate. Through courses in the College and the IU Kelley School of Business, LAMP students sharpen thier critical thinking skills, challenge the status quo, explore perspectives, and boost their credentials.
The College of Arts and Sciences is the largest academic unit at Indiana University Bloomington. It is composed of 40+ departments, 50+ Centers, Programs, and Institutes, while also including the Eskenazi School of Art, Architecture and Design, the Hamilton Lugar School of Global and International Studies, and The Media School. Faculty in the College teach over 50 percent of the Indiana University (Bloomington) credit hours in 80+ buildings on the Bloomington campus.

The College values diversity, equity, and inclusion as a core strength and essential element in the success of its educational mission. [For full diversity statement, click here.
