Job Summary
The Program Manager - AI / Gen AI will be responsible for driving and managing AI related initiatives within Vertiv. This person will need to work closely with external partners, IT and different business functions on use cases, technologies, and prioritization. They will play a key role in building and developing the AI Center of Excellence (CoE) within Vertiv. They will ensure not only the delivery of use cases, but also oversee the implementation of Gen AI platform for Vertiv. This person should have experience in managing projects / programs related to Data, Machine Learning, DevOps, and other Digital technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and document use cases, drive prioritization and schedules.
  • Defines, plans, and drives AI roadmap based on management and senior technical guidance.
  • Establish a delivery cadence in an agile way with continuous prioritization and deployment of use cases based on business case.
  • Possesses a thorough knowledge of the principles ofproject management and can apply them effectively on small to large size projects.
  • Driving effective communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams
  • Identify action or mitigation plans for issues or risks that arise during the program.
  • Collaborates with core teams and execution teams to identify areas that require special attention or escalations to identify corrective actions.
  • Collect, analyze, organize, and publish work performance data via dashboards and recurring status reports.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree - Business or IT preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience managing large programs and CoE's.
  • Understanding of capital and operating expense allocation.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Strong financial acumen.
  • Excellent project coordination, communication, and influencing skills within a matrixed environment.
  • Proficient with PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Proficiency in partnering with business leaders to drive company/department strategies.
  • Ability to interact with cross-functional groups, external clients, and vendors in driving organization change.
  • Experience working in a matrix like environment.
  • Ability to work in an extremely fast paced environment.
