Responsibilities:

  • Act as the central point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders and own the end-to-end commercialization of assigned strategic growth projects (new volume awards).
  • Use various project management tools to effectively document the Project charter, key milestones, sub activities, timelines, pull together relevant stakeholders, organize cadence calls and efficiently drive execution of the overall project.
  • Continuously monitor and communicate project progress effectively with both internal and external customers. This role will work across customer accounts and business functions.
  • Manage the project team, secure task planning, coordinate day-to-day activities, guide the project stakeholders, get their commitment and drive accountability with stakeholders to deliver success against the project criteria.
  • Control the project both from a timing, financial and quality perspective; managing the resources provided to meet project objectives and elevate relevant discussions to respective functional leaders when support is needed (additional resources, delays, risks, non-compliance, etc.).
  • Proactively assess risk of failure and mitigate this effectively with alignment from the internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support the Sales directors to use a 'stage gate process' to qualify which growth project qualifies for support from the PM resource and outline clearly what success looks like. Recalibrate success criteria if conditions have changed.
  • Promote program management processes and culture within the organization.
  • Hand off the project to the regular Account Specialist for reorders (once it launches, the project manager moves away from the project).

What You Need to Succeed
  • Master or bachelor's Engineering degree in Project management or Mechanical / Plastics / Packaging or related field.
  • 3-to-5-year experience in a similar function responsible for driving execution of projects for FMCG products or plastic injection technology (Pharmaceutical, Cosmetics, Electronics, Plastic injection suppliers & industries)
  • Fluent in English with exposure to international cultures and teams is a plus.
  • Certification in project management, PMP or equivalent certified would be highly preferred. If not certified, resource will need to work towards achieving PMP certification or equivalent by end of year 1.
  • Proficiency using MS Project, Gantt charts, RACI formats and other standard PM tools and software.
  • Proficiency using business/technical software like MS Excel, MS Project, MS Powerpoint, CRM & ERP workflow.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills a must. Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management.
  • Ability to lead virtual and in person conference calls with multiple stakeholders.
  • Key competencies for success in this role - learning on the fly, organizes and reduces ambiguity, process management, strong drive for results and holding stakeholders accountable to commitments.
