Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is currently recruiting for a Project Administrator for our client in Gregory, TX. If you enjoy supporting projects, are open to a contract opportunity and can work onsite in Gregory (at your own expense), we encourage you to apply.

Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood is required

Responsibilities:

  • Answers incoming phone calls and addresses emails
  • Greets visitors and assists in resolving issues
  • Interfaces with clients and vendors and ensures outcomes are appropriately communicated
  • Coordinates and schedules meetings and special events
  • Organizes and maintains files and records
  • Prepares, formats and distributes documents such as meeting minutes, complex reports, presentations and studies
  • Facilitates domestic and/or global travel
  • Format documents as required
  • May maintain a SharePoint site
  • May process requisitions
  • May enter/approve time and/or expenses


Skills / Qualifications

Successful candidate to possess:

Skills / Qualifications:
  • Demonstrates a professional manner in appearance
  • Must possess the ability to read, write and comprehend written and spoken English
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office, Adobe, Skype/Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Visio and other software programs as required
  • 3-5 years minimum experience in this type of capacity
  • Ability to operate office equipment including computer, keyboard, mouse, copier and phone
  • Intermediate PC skills with ability to enter data and verify accuracy
  • Intermediate knowledge in developing and maintaining complex spreadsheets, reports, presentations and studies
  • Intermediate knowledge of document formatting; ability to maintain and modify formats of spreadsheets and other project documents in order to complete tasks
  • Ability to learn other applications and use databases as required
  • Intermediate understanding of the project function, terminology, policies and procedures
  • Effective oral and written communication skills with professional vocabulary, professional grammar and the ability to independently compose routine written communications
  • Excellent organization and time management skills and abilities to meet deadlines
  • Detail oriented with a strong ability to multi-task
  • Ability to resolve problems and questions independently
  • Ability to assist in planning workload
  • Ability to maintain confidential / sensitive files and records
