YOUR ROLE

· The Project Engineer is responsible for assisting teams and managing/facilitating daily activities on capital projects.

· This position assists in managing resources, schedules, financials and adheres to quality and control guidelines throughout the full systems development life cycle of a project.

· This position contributes to process improvement initiatives as it relates to project delivery and execution.

· Support engineering and operational initiatives across the Global and North American Adhesives Operations network.

· Assisting and supporting process safety requirements such as: Basic and Detailed Risk Assessments, (Management of change, Pre-Startup Safety Review's, and Layers of Protection Analysis) and development of process safety information, etc.

· Work under the direction of the project manager to drive the delivery and implementation of major capital projects safely and successfully within Henkel North America.

· May act as the primary project manager to implement small capital projects across the North America network.

· Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks and issues.

· Other duties as assigned.

YOUR SKILLS

· BS or MS Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering required.

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.

· Strong desire to learn new technologies, chemistries, and processes.

· Ability to travel up to 50% of the time required.

· Exposure to SAP is preferred.

· Project management experience is preferred.

· Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Thesalary for this role is $58,100.00 - $79,000.00. This is the range that wein good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
