Job Description: Project Manager
Location: Remote
Job Type: Contract-to-hire
Compensation: $65-75 hourly W2
Key Responsibilities and Qualifications:
The Project Manager, from a PM perspective, will handle complex IT projects and the business aspects of a project. My client is a smaller company, so there is no overall PMO. This PM will be managing projects that are wholly or partially being delivered by my client's offshore teams. They are not managing the offshore teams. The offshore teams have their own Scrum Master. The PM will be managing their deliverables of the team and holding them accountable. Almost like managing a third-party vendor. This person should have a stong sense of initiative and be abled to work independently. They should not need someone following up on their work. Someone who can manage the day-to-day. Do the teams have what they need? Do the teams understand what they are doing? Ultimately, there will be five offshore scrum teams. Are they delivering the work products? The PM will need to escalate when necessary so the teams can deliver. Hold them to the fire and escalate if not delivering. And establish great relationships with them. Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
