*Salary:* $120k-$150k DOE

Based in DC Metro area, we are a well known construction company that's been in business for over 40 years. We've successfully completed multiple complex construction projects for education, healthcare and other community facilities. We have also won multiple awards for safety management and for best places to work.

Due to continued company growth we are hiring for a senior construction project manager who will lead in planning, developing, and directing all aspects of assigned projects to maximize profitability and exceed client expectations

What You Will Be Doing Review critical project submittals, identify early problem areas, develop plans for successful delivery of project and schedule.
Consult with project management team, provide support for plan approvals, building permit issuance, processing plan revisions, and walk through.
Perform ongoing quality control inspections to ensure compliance with contract documents, review project budgets to understand project and potential problems.
Review and develop trade scopes to insure complete scope coverage, ensure project reporting requirements in accordance with policies and procedures.
Coordinate and direct preparation of design project plan (all engineering activities such as shop drawings, RFIs change orders, and schedule updates), work with project team to develop plan of approach to design and construction effort.
Evaluate progress of project, recommend changes to achieve overall objectives, attend trade contractor meetings, prepare meeting minutes as documentation and follow-up.
Ensure project schedule is incorporated into trade contractors contract and/or purchase orders, monitor schedule, implement updates in conjunction with project superintendent and/or scheduling consultant.
Prepare project status reports in accordance with the policies and procedures, conduct constructability reviews, identify issues prior to impact on project.
Create project scheduled independently, handle financial close-out in accordance with policies and procedures.
Ensure that the warranty department coordinates a timely turnover of project.
Process owner and subcontractor billings, consult with project superintendent regarding trade contractor invoices; approve and coordinate invoice payment process with accounting.
What You Need for this Position - 6+ years Project Management experience
- Must have worked for a General Contractor 4+ years
- Experience working Education, Church, Healthcare, Government, Multifamily, K-12
- Experience Project Managing projects ranging from 15M+
- Ground up
- Commercial Construction
