Your Role:

You will be working closely with Implementation partner SMEs, Business SMEs, Master data teams, Operations, Sales, Order Management, IT, Finance, Inventory management and other business functions for SAP deployment per project timelines. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing, implementing, and reviewing both strategic and tactical project planning associated with SAP ERP and APO systems implementation.
  • Coordinating and implementing resources, schedule, structure, internal awareness, and operational aspects of SAP deployment for the Rockville, Maryland site.
  • Creating and course correcting long term deployment plans throughout the project to align with changing Business and IT needs.
  • Leading and influencing cross functional team members to execute the strategic deployment plan while managing the matrix project team to meet deployment milestones, flag potential deviations from the plan, and identify potential actions to get the project back on track.
  • Acting as a project owner, champion, and spokesperson, helping establish a positive working atmosphere within the organization.
  • Simultaneously managing/supporting several assigned projects and related activities.
  • Coordinate between Implementation partner, Global key users, Local key users, Master data team & master data planners to manage milestone deliverables & flag for course correction.
  • Executes project management skills such as defining project tasks, plans and resource requirements, demonstrating adherence to global PMO practices and templates, e.g., on-boarding, kickoff meeting, communication plan, standardized/template minutes, agenda, timetables, pre-meetings, project plans, scope documents, risk registers/FMEA, Gantt charts, Work Breakdown Structure.

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higherin a relevant discipline.
  • 4+ years' experience managing complex business, commercial, operations projects in Life Science or Pharmaceutical industry.
  • Excellent fundamental project management and process improvement skills: planning, organizing, attention to detail, managing competing priorities, analytical and systems thinking.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience managing SAP S4 Hana enterprise projects in Life Science or Pharmaceutical industry.
  • Existing project management certificate (PMI or equivalent).
  • Action oriented, self-motivated, and highly organized.
  • Clear communicator with strong ability to influence, lead, and manage a team of diverse stakeholders, including executives.
