Blue Cross of Idaho is looking for a Project Manager to support project execution through resource planning and scheduling. This role will work with the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO), business partners and IT to gather demand and capacity data. The individual will use systems and tools to analyze data, report out on constraints, capability and skill gaps, and resource trends. In addition, the PM will assist program and project teams in assessing and mitigating resource challenges, provide project management software (Workfront) administration, and collaborate across teams to mature project resource processes and systems.

This position has flexibility to work remotely from a pre-approved State, and/or hybrid location (onsite and work-from-home).

Required Experience: 5/+ years' resource or project management experience to include 3 years' supporting project management software experience

Required Education: Bachelor's Degree Business, IT, Health, or related field of study, or equivalent work experience (Two years' relevant work experience is equivalent to one-year college)

  • Workfront project management software experience
  • Tableau experience
  • Workfront Administrator Certification
  • Strong technical skills and reporting competence

In this role, we will ask you to:

  • Work with Project and Program Managers to capture project resource demand within their project plans for both current and future forecasts.
  • Support and troubleshoot project and resource management software.
  • Create and maintain custom reports around resource management and projects using project management software.
  • Analyze resource demand vs. reported resource capacity.
  • Find opportunities to automate and grow demand capture and analytics.

  • Assist in project team assembly, applying skillset identification and resource availability.
  • Maintain existing and develop new data connections between resource and project management software and supporting data sets.
  • Maintain enterprise project capacity data and build relationships with supporting teams and leaders.
  • Create planning timelines and constraint vs. availability forecasts.
  • Gather resource constraint mitigation options and communicate details.

  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
