Location: Wood Dale, IL
Salary: $75,000.00 USD Annually - $90,000.00 USD Annually
Description:
The Judge Group is seeking a Process Safety Management Coordinator to join our client's dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

• Implement, organize, and maintain OSHA Process Safety Management (PSM) and EPA Risk Management Programs (RMP) for the facility.
• Conduct training and oversee safety in facility maintenance, including areas such as arc flash, LOTO, confined space, ammonia awareness, ladder safety, fall protection, and hazmat.
• Report to Facility Maintenance Manager and Superintendent.
• Communicate with refrigeration operators, facility management, and corporate on the status and needs of PSM and RMP programs.
• Track compliance audits, hazard analyses, incident investigations, and other action items.
• Lead monthly PSM committee meetings with various stakeholders.
• Manage the PSM bulletin board and facilitate the Management of Change (MOC) process for applicable projects.
• Support refrigeration management in budgeting for PSM-covered processes and develop training for these processes.
• Track and schedule Preventative Maintenance (PM) activities and develop training for routine and non-routine PM tasks.
• Maintain electronic and hard copies of the entire program.
• Analyze maintenance data and recommend repairs or replacements in accordance with engineering practices.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED required; Vocational school or additional coursework preferred.
• Strong administrative skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, and CMMS.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD software is a plus.
• Three years documented experience in operation/maintenance of refrigeration systems or completion of Operator I, II, and III training within three years.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidence and discretion.
• Participation in OSHA and EPA audits and understanding of PSM/RMP federal code requirements.

Working Conditions:

• Work performed in both office and warehouse conditions.
• Some work in a temperature-controlled environment, occasional exposure to extreme temperatures.
• Long periods of sitting at a desk or computer terminal.
• Potential hazards related to machinery and a fast-paced work environment.

Equipment Used:

• Office Equipment (PC, FAX, Scanner, Copier, etc.)
• Analytical analyzing equipment (Infrared Imaging, Amp Draw Gauge, VOM, Data Logger, etc.)
