Schedule: 9-10 hours per week supporting 3 teams via tele-health:

Team one:

• Covers 5 counties in SW Ohio, based in Hamilton

• 3 hours per week - 1 hour Monday, 1 hour Wednesday, 1 hour Friday - 9:00am - 10:00am

Team two:

• Covers 11 counties in west-central Ohio, based in Bellefontaine

• 3 hours per week - 1 hour Monday, 1 hour Wednesday, 1 hour Friday - 8:00am - 9:00am

Team three:

• Covers 7 counties in north-central Ohio, based in Bucyrus

• 3 hours per week - 1 hour Monday, 1 hour Wednesday, 1 hour Friday - 10:00am - 11:00am

Plus 2 hours weekly for consultation.

Program Summary: DDTT is comprised of a specialized mobile team of professionals including a Psychiatrist, a Behavioral Specialist, Recovery Coordinators, a Nurse, and a Pharmacist, providing treatment, support, and education for individuals in the community diagnosed with a mental illness and co-morbidity development disability. Individuals referred to DDTT are in crisis, at risk of losing community tenure, and/or are transitioning from acute care hospitalization.

Position Summary: As a member of the DDTT, the Consulting Psychiatrist is qualified in the mental health profession, and possesses the clinical skills and experience to assess, plan, develop, coordinate and collaborate treatment, and rehabilitation for adolescents and adults with mental illness and Intellectual developmental disabilities (Dually Diagnosed). The consulting psychiatrist works in conjunction with all team members, Merakey internal supports, and Interagency Team.

• Psychiatrist in OH.

• 1 year clinical experience working with adults with mental illness and developmental disabilities (Dually Diagnosed).

• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of dually diagnosed individuals, recovery principles and recovery driven service system.

• Professional credentials should be current as dictated by the State licensing standards and Professional Licensing Board.
