CUMULUS MEDIA | Worcester/Boston, MA is seeking a part-time host for our weekly public service program, "Community Conversations". In this position, you will unleash your passion for getting to the heart of an issue by talking to newsmakers in the state. Each week, you will host a 30-minute program where local guests tell the story behind the story. You will cover events and issues including the local and regional economy, healthcare, education, art/culture, transportation and more. Responsibilities also include compiling a quarterly issues programming report for posting to the station's public file, in compliance with FCC regulations.

Who We Are:

CUMULUS | Worcester/Boston, MA currently features 3 stations in the Worcester MA area and surrounding counties, including Boston. Our stations include: 104-5 XLO (Hot AC), 100FM The Pike (Classic Hits), and 98.9 NASH Icon (Country Hits). The cluster of 3 stations reaches thousands of listeners on a daily basis.

Job Requirements:

• 1-3 years of on-air experience required (audio demo must be added to online profile/application.)
• Strong production skills and knowledge of OpX automation system, VOX Pro, Reaper and Audacity.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and social networking
• Strong knowledge of all FCC rules and regulations
• Socially informed and perceptive; up-to-date and in-tune daily with the local and national trends and/or specialized knowledge of topics/events related to on-air discussions
• Demonstrated upbeat personality, informative, entertaining and engaging on the air; able to relate to station audience
• Pleasant, charismatic and well-controlled voice; excellent pronunciation
• Excellent verbal and written communication and editing skills; proficient in grammar; ability to make others feel comfortable and open up on air
• Demonstrated creativity and imagination
• Can work well in a team environment; collaborative
