Description:
The Judge Group is partnered with a well established food manufacturer with well-known brands in the consumer packaged goods world. The Quality Manager Serves as the PCQI and Lead SQF Practitioner for both manufacturing facilities, with Quality Supervisors at each location as back up.
Responsibilities:
- Continue to develop a thriving and developing Quality Assurance team
- Work to provide technical expertise collaborating with Engineering and Ops on process, sanitation and facility projects
- Lead Quality Improvement efforts utilizing best practices and continuous improvement
- Lead as HACCP Coordinator and ensure FSQA plans remain effective
- Promote the company's culture and values of integrity, responsibilities, trust and caring.
Requirements:
- Must have a Bachelor's Degree
- Must have Food Manufacturing Regulatory/QA experience (i.e. SQF/BRC/HACCP/PCQI/FDA/USDA)
- Must have Lean Manufacturing knowledge and experience, LSS Belts are a plus!
- Must have flexibility to share time with off shift teams overlapping 2nd/3rd shifts
- Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, SQF Practitioner or GFSI certifications highly preferred
- Position can sit on 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift depending on your preference
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with SAP a plus
