RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Bellevue, WA that is seeking a talented and highly motivated Quality Assurance Engineer (QAE).Summary:QAE's regularly work with Developers, Product Managers and other Quality Engineers to ensure the proper operation of the production environment. During the development cycle, QAEs identify use cases, create test cases, execute tests, and report results.Duties Include:- QAE's use technical knowledge to create, execute, and maintain software test plans and automation involving one or more product components and/or features
- Create and maintain automation scripts, make configuration changes, and modify/extend test cases to accommodate feature releases
- Develop test solutions, scripts, and simple tools to reduce manual effort, audit component, or improve feature quality
- As a QAE, you will troubleshoot automation failures and isolate bugs to help developers research the root cause of defects
- Analyze change requests and provide recommendations on how change might impact test scope and/or product behavior
- Automate test cases
- Write Test cases
REQUIREMENTS:
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 2-4 years of industry experience testing software, including website applications
- Experience with QA process and Software Development Life Cycle
- Proficiency working in a Linux/Unix environment
- Able to remove roadblocks
- Knack for breaking websites
- Detail oriented
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential
- Experience with Selenium highly desired
- Experience with HTML, JavaScript, Java, and SQL is desired, but not required
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
