Job Description Summary
Summary:
This position is responsible for all information generated through the Q.A. systems being filed and recorded in an organized manner, reporting to the Q.A. Manager on the accuracy and completeness of daily records and any trends or deviations encountered through daily record review. The Tech I must be able to work easily with all supervisors, operators, sanitation workers and other Lab Techs.

Job Description

Qualifications:

• Test quality of finished product using written standards
• Examine characteristics of finished product - color, blemishes, defects
• Record data on a computer-based program
• Audit production processes - bag seals, product codes, etc.
• Clean and maintain laboratory equipment
• Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures.
• Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
• Maintain a neat and clean work area at all times and exhibit good personal hygiene.
• Perform other duties as assigned

OTHER KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Ability to read, write and speak in English.
• Ability to use a computer for data entry, report generation and research.
• Ability to use rules to solve a problem
• Ability to understand and follow instructions.
• Ability to effectively present information to supervisors and other employees.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carrying out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form.
