The core purpose of this role is to provide support to Arrow's Enterprise Quality organization, working to manage Quality business intelligence and documentation governance including, quality data program management, metric definition and documentation, BI outputs and tools training, and document control. This role will work closely with the IT organization to drive data warehousing and BI deliverables.
The Business Intelligence Quality Engineer role is very dynamic and cross-functional while requiring knowledge, skills and abilities that span multiple disciplines such as site/process quality, program development, project management, technical requirements gathering, data modeling, BI visualization development, and stakeholder management.
What You'll Be Doing
Develop business intelligence strategies to improve quality process standardization and performance.
Responsible for the ownership of the Enterprise Quality business reporting and visualization portfolio
Create, maintain, and enhance Business Intelligence components (metadata, reports, metrics, dashboards) using Microsoft Power BI
Working closely with IT, identify, understand, assess, prioritize, document, and communicate requirements, risks, dependencies, and potential roadblocks for all enterprise quality reporting and BI.
Ensure work activity complies to industry standards that may include but is not limited to ISO 9001, AS 9100, AS 9120, ISO 13485, ISO 14001, ISO 27001, ESD S20.20, TS 16949, TAPA, etc.
Serving as document control administrator
Administrative support of the Quality Management System Software: ETQ.
Analysis of data to identify significant problems and isolate root causes to drive improvement activity.
General experience in the following quality methodologies: Six Sigma, Lean, CAPA, Root Cause, Corrective Preventative Action, PCA, CIP, 8D.
Proven subject matter expertise in working quality issues with logical in-depth root cause analysis, developing good corrective and preventative actions and evidence of effectiveness.
Up to 10% Travel, both Domestic & International
