Job Description:

CoreLogic is seeking an Operations Quality Engineer who is passionate about all things data and has the desire to turn operational insights into operational excellence. Employees in this role need to be well-versed with innovation and trends in the world of quality data processing which can include data management, data quality assessment, and data curation. If you like being at the forefront and for your work to be impactful, this is the position you want. This is a highly visible role with direct revenue impact as data is our product. This role also provides a tremendous opportunity to learn while making an impactful contribution to the success of the company.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Process complex quality data sets, leverage technologies used to process these disparate data sets, and understand the correlation as well as patterns that exist between the data sets.
  • Work closely with other teams to design, develop, and improve quality solutions to meet business requirements, perform test assessments, POC's and establish an execution or development plan.
  • Drive innovative quality improvement techniques in partnership with process SMEs.
  • Forecast quality impact on both upstream & downstream processes and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Identify enabling technologies and develop solutions that have a high-quality, low-risk impact. Employ lateral thinking to develop innovative solutions to meet business needs.
  • Communicate complex technical ideas straightforwardly and compellingly.
Job Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of relevant IT experience and 2 years of experience with Java coding.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, related quality discipline, or significant industry experience.
  • 2 years of experience with development & operations in cloud native technologies (GCP preferred)
  • Broad knowledge of data management frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills.
  • Must have a go-getter attitude and a willingness to pick up new technologies and programming languages.
  • Must be a team player with a creative mindset who's always looking for novel solutions to challenging problems and open to learning as well as sharing knowledge with others.
  • Experience working in a vendor-managed environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Working knowledge of Python or other statistical tools.
  • Professional certifications.
  • Knowledge of Cloud architecture, networking, and protocols.
  • Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Someone who enjoys having fun and maintaining a work-life balance while working on exciting projects.
