Job Description:

As a Quality Manager, will leverage their strong organizational and communication skills within the context of the software development project lifecycle to employ a comprehensive quality management and performance management program for the project. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting projects for claims and financial processing for state governments, hospitals or health insurance companies and be familiar with concepts and processes from both the healthcare and software industries.

Responsibilities

• Manages team of internal resources with a team size less than 20 people.
• Leads team to validate that RFP requirements, scheduled events, deliverables, benchmarks, and contract performance measures are proactively addressed
• Design, implement, and improve project quality standards
• Analyze data in order to find areas for growth
• Formulate strategies to increase productivity
• Monitors progress of deliverable development and ensures all project deliverables are submitted on schedule. Creates reports to track progress.
• Review processes in order to ensure that they align with current trends
• Facilitates discussions with client and IV&V deliverable reviewers to resolve all deliverable comments
• Encourages continuous quality improvement throughout the project.
• Leads a team to conduct reviews and perform analyses to identify opportunities to improve quality through the use of internal reviews of deliverables, reports, and documentation before client submission.
• Assigns work and provides direction with regard to timeliness and completion of project objectives.
• Encourages skill development of project team members.
• Provides performance feedback for team members.
  
  Education and Experience Required:
  
• First Level University degree (Bachelor's degrees)
• 3 years' experience like roles/businesses
  
  Knowledge and Skills
  
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Eye for details
• Technical proficiency, must be able to use computers and generate reports
• Ability to analyze data and create and review processes
• Good leadership skills to train, guide and mentor the work of less experienced personnel.
• Advanced planning and project management skills necessary to understand project schedule and keep deliverables on track during review cycle.
• Experience working with client vision, business objectives, and critical success factors.
• Experience working with delivery assurance principles and appropriate procedures.
• Proven knowledge of project support, client relations, IT industry, accounting, and time recording/effort tracking.
