Under the supervision of theDirector of Risk Management, the Quality Specialist participates in departmentpeer review and risk management processes. Works collaboratively with specifiedDepartment Chairs and Chiefs, Directors of Risk Management, Patient Safety andPatient Care Services in facilitating the peer review process and theinvestigation of serious complaints, and adverse events.
- Presentation skills; verbal and written communication skills;computer skills including word, excel, outlook, powerpoint and other programs asneeded
- 3 - 5 years of progressive health care experience; strongclinical background
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing,Health Care Quality or other healthcare related field or equivalent experience
- Advanced computer skills inexcel, powerpoint, access, visio; project management skills
