We are seeking a talented and motivated molecular biologist to join the Protein Expression Sciences team. The individual will interact with other team members to design and execute advanced cloning technology to support Regeneron's antibody discovery and development efforts. An ideal candidate is experienced in basic molecular biology, eager to learn and implement new techniques, and work as a team to facilitate development of the next generation of antibody therapeutics.
As the R&D Associate, Protein Expression Sciences, a typical day might include the following:
- Constructing expression vectors for the production of antibodies and related molecules.
- Using molecular biology techniques for recombinant cloning of antibody genes into expression plasmids.
- Developing new methodologies to support high-throughput cloning.
- Preparing libraries for NGS-based plasmid sequencing.
- Utilizing DNA sequence analysis software packages such as MacVector and Sequencher.
- Accurately and consistently recording experimental methods, materials, and results in electronic laboratory notebooks.

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have minimum of a B.S or M.S. in Molecular Biology, Cellular Biology, Biology or related field, with 2+ years of laboratory experience, post-degree. The successful candidate will have experience with molecular biological methods such PCR, DNA purification, seamless cloning, and NGS library prep and sequencing. Attention to detail, and strong communication and organizational skills are also required. Candidates should also be able to multitask and have a collaborate and proactive attitude.
