We are looking for an R&D Associate to join the Skeletal Disease team! As an R&D Associate you will Responsible for performing in vivo and in vitro experiments in the field of bone disease. Has solid scientific understanding of mouse models of disease and able to follow standard operating protocols in in vivo & in vitro research. Analyze and interpret experimental data, prepares scientific presentations and ability to present to the group.

As an R&D Associate, a typical day may include the following:

• Able to perform in vivo experiments using mouse models - responsibilities include bleeds, injections, and take down and subsequent analysis

• Responsible for managing mouse cohorts - monitoring mice for health status, recording clinical observations at reqular intervals and routine bio-fluid collections

• basic molecular biology (e.g. cloning, transfection, DNA/RNA isolation, qPCR), biochemical methods (SDS-page, western blot) and immunohistochemistry, FACS techniques

• The candidate will support multiple projects and is expected to manage time efficiently

• The position also entails lab management supports such as ordering supplies and equipment, maintaining lab records, and adhering to safety regulations

• You use sound judgment to effectively solve problems, display excellent critical thinking skills and work with little supervision

To be considered for this position, you must have a bachelor's degree in biology or a related field with 2+ years of lab related experiences and to have established an ability to understand biological research. Experience is desired with animal models, in vivo techniques using mouse models, mammalian cell culture and basic molecular biology(e.g. cloning, DNA/RNA isolation, qPCR), biochemical methods (SDS-page, western blot) and immunohistochemistry, FACS techniques. Some weekend and evening flexibility will be required. Master's degree in biology preferred. Computer experience (e.g. macvector, Excel, PRISM).
