Protein Expression Sciences (PES) seeks a skilled and experienced Molecular Biologist to join the team. You will be part of the Technology Development group and contribute to research projects aimed at supporting Regeneron's antibody discovery pipeline. We perform a wide range of molecular biology and cell-based experiments; such as DNA cloning, Next Generation Sequencing, establishment and maintenance of stable cell lines, RT-PCR, western blotting, and FACS based assays.

As the R&D Associate, Protein Expression Sciences, a typical day might include the following:

  • Develop mammalian cell-based assays to screen antibody fragments for stability, affinity and antigen binding.
  • Operate liquid handlers and other instrumentation in the laboratory to aid with performing high throughput assays.
  • Perform PCR, DNA cloning, and Next Generation Sequencing.
  • Actively communicate results and prepare presentations for departmental meetings.

  • An ability and desire to craft experiments, problem-solve, and troubleshoot independently.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
To be considered for this opportunity, you must have MS/BS in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Immunology, or related fields. 1-5 years of experience working in a lab. Strong molecular biology skills and tissue culture experience.
