JOB DESCRIPTION

Technology Knowledge:

• Solid understanding of organic and physical chemistry

• The ability to develop an experimental plan and investigate results

• Analyze data, identify trends, patterns, correlations, and level of statistical significance. Perform Cost/benefit analysis. Identify and perform risk assessment to quantify risk. Reach defensible data driven conclusions and guide project progression based on results.

• Perform routine lab experiments with minimal supervision.

• Collect and organize data in a timely and efficient manner and present to the scientists/leaders/marketing.

• Collect and organize the raw data, organize into presentable format and provide limited interpretation of the data.

• Good understanding of Scientific Methodology. Hypothesis driven research and problem solving capability with an ability to analyze data and document clearly.

Technical Leadership:

• Continuous learning and intimate awareness of open literature and competitive landscape

• Adhere to safety, quality and housekeeping policies/guidelines.

• Confer with peers and supervisors to conduct analyses of research projects, interpret test results, or develop nonstandard tests.

• Ability to interact with cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization

• Good business acumen

• Experience and Education:

• Preferred minimum 0-3 years relevant experience

• B.S. Degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or related field
