Position Summary

This position will support the Navigation Technologies R&D department of the Vascular Division with test method development in Labview and Matlab and data analysis for capital equipment and integration of single-use devices.

The successful candidate will ensure the requirements of Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance programs are met for the projects under development.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Test method development and validation for single-use-devices and capital equipment.
  • Protocol development and data collection and analysis using statistical tools.
  • Document the methods, protocols and results.


Education / Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics Engineering or Physics.
  • Preferred prior internship or employment in a medical devices company and familiarity with the design control process.


Specialized Skills / Other Requirements

  • Proficient in Matlab or LabView.
  • Proficient in HW test design method development using oscilloscopes, signal generators, network analyzers and spectrum analyzers.
  • Knowledge of Fourier analysis.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent planning, communication and organization skills
  • Ability to perform tasks with minimum supervision
  • Ability to work collaboratively with partners
  • Microsoft office - Word and Excel required
