Part-time position as an assistant in our Radiology Deparment. Monday - Friday approximately 24 hours a week.
The Radiology Technician Assistant will work with other members of Semmes Murphey Clinic to provide patient services and is expected to participate in the appropriate team activities with the objective of providing a high standard of patient and clinical service. The Radiology Technician Assistant is responsible for directing and coordinating activities of the radiology/diagnostic imaging department, processing medical films, transporting patients, and providing other routine assistance to radiology staff. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential responsibility satisfactorily.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook and Word), electronic medical records (EMR) and medical practice software
- Responds promptly to customer needs; responds to requests for service and assistance
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with patients, visitors, physicians and coworkers
- Ability to comprehend and interpret verbal orders and direction
- Observes safety and security procedures; reports potentially unsafe conditions; uses equipment and materials properly
