Job Info
We are searching for a Radiology Tech who:
- knows how to move imaging equipment into specified position; determine exposure factors on basis of height, weight, portion of body involved, and degree of penetration required; and adjust equipment controls to set exposure factors and produce images of proper detail, density, and accuracy
- can communicate effectively and professionally with patients, visitors, physicians and coworkers
- is able to comprehend verbal orders and direction
- has a strong knowledge of safety and security procedures, with the ability to identify and report potentially unsafe conditions, equipment and materials
- will provide excellent customer service while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and discretion
Requirements
This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, AART certification, and active TN medical x-ray operator license. Three (3) years' work experience with fluoroscopy, including neurosurgery and pain procedures is preferred.
The candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word), electronic medical records and medical practice software. Organizational skills with attention to detail are required.
