Williams Form Engineering has been a leader in manufacturing quality products for the Construction and Fastener Industries for over 80 years. Our construction products are divided into three main categories: Concrete Forming Hardware and Accessories; Rock and Concrete Anchor Bolts; and Post Tensioning Systems. Williams Form Engineering is looking to bring on the right leader to join our Lithia Springs, GA rebar fabrication team. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that the company's goals of safety, morale, and welfare of our team are met
  • Promote positive culture and one team mindset between production, inventory, quality, and maintenance
  • Carry out continuous improvement activities to achieve company goals
  • Create and manage labor and machine work schedules
  • Gain excellent knowledge of Company operations and the ability to guide and advise the team on efficiency improvement
  • Create and enforce standards and procedures for shop floor operation and training
  • Train and develop personnel
  • Assist department leads with problem solving or production-related issues
  • Coordinate workload between departments
  • Assist with development of procedures to accomplish manufacturing goals
  • Determine labor requirements and make recommendations for effective utilization
  • Assist with physical production process
  • Evaluate processes and paperwork to achieve process improvement
  • Assist department leads with monitoring and reviewing team members' performance, skill level, and training needs
  • Monitor hot customer orders
  • Provide supervision and direction to department leads
Required Abilities:
  • Effective supervision skills and experience
  • Self-motivated
  • Ability to interact well with all levels of personnel
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Manufacturing knowledge of rebar fabrication line
  • Advanced math skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Knowledge of overall shop processes
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required
  • Minimum four years of experience in a leadership role
  • Associates degree or equivalent miliary experience
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted required
  • Able to stand, walk, bend and twist for at least seven hours per day
  • US Citizen or Green Card holder
Pay: Negotiable

Working Conditions:

Working Conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment including mechanical noise and fluctuating temperatures. Work involves frequent lifting of materials and product. The plant requires the use of safety equipment to include, but not limited to, safety glasses, hearing protectors, steel-toe boots, and hardhats. Loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted. Shop position with interaction between all departments. This position reports to the VP of Manufacturing.
